Jacob Collins

Jacob Paul Collins is the Queen of the front desk at McCarter Health Center. He struggles daily to hold this title with Dr. Heather McCarter. Jacob grew up in Ritchie County and then moved to the Parkersburg area in early 2000. 

He worked in the retail arena for many years before Elder-Beerman closed their doors in 2018. Jacob was the Assistant Manager of the store and managed the cosmetics department for 13 years. He has traveled all across the East Coast as a Professional Make-up Artist for Elizabeth Arden during that time. Jacob then changed careers in 2018, when he started at McCarter Health Center.

Many people know Jacob as his superior ego, Miss Lucy Lipps.

Jacob currently manages the apartment complex he lives in with his dog, Jackson. He enjoys cookouts and hang outs with his extended family and he Loves watching Ethan’s high school baseball games. Jacob works with many different Pride organizations to put equality and diversity to the forefront of our communities. He currently sits as Vice President of Parkersburg Pride and is an advocate for the youth, and for simply “being you.”
